The annual Bangalore Flower show is back once again in Lalbagh. The show organized by he Department of Horticulture, apart from attracting visitors from all over the State was a big escape for knowledge workers in Bangalore.

This show is a showcase of hundred of verities of flowers and flowering plants right from orchids, roses to flowers like marigold. Over 1600 exhibitors are participating in this event.

People using artificial and plastics flower do not understand the damage they cause to environment and this show is focused on motivating people to enjoy the beauty of natural flowers and their fragrance.

Flower delivery by Grower in Bangalore

Most of the flower arrangements and flower delivery is done by local florist who may not really have nothing to do with growing flowers. I came across an interesting florist in Bangalore FloraStand which is owned by a grower. They also have an online presence at http://www.florastand.com/ and they seems to be cheaper that any other online florists though they charge separately for delivery. They have reasonably good collection of arrangements and selection of flowers.
